The museum has recently begun planning a 10 year extensive expansion project! The first elements of our expansion are the creation of an immersive 'Early Pioneer Village' and an Indigenous Peoples of FL' Educational experience!

Only 25 minutes from downtown St. Augustine, the Florida Agricultural Museum is one of Flagler County’s most popular attractions.

In addition to preserving Florida’s agricultural past, the Museum is also active in the conservation of heritage livestock including rare Florida Cracker cattle, horses, and sheep. The Florida Agricultural Museum provides fun and educational experiences for all ages. Flagler County and the St. Augustine area lead the state in historic sites.

Visitors to The Florida Agricultural Museum fall in love with its unique character and whimsical approach at storytelling paired with a distinct historical reverence. We strive to make every visit a vibrant and compelling educational experience!

THE
MUSEUM

Our museum is active in the conservation of Florida's agricultural heritage as well as a number of heritage livestock including rare Florida Cracker cattle, horses, and sheep. The Florida Agricultural Museum provides fun and educational experiences for all ages!

TOURS
(SELF GUIDED & GROUPS)

We offer self guided and guided school tours throughout our property. Our tour stops are tied together by a historical narrative told by an eccentric cast of characters based on those who walked our land centuries before! 

SPECIAL
EVENTS

Our museum hosts recurring and one-time special events that range from educational demonstrations and recreational activities. to farmers markets and music events. Our recently renovated barn is also available to rent for private events.

MISSION STATEMENT

The Florida Agricultural Museum was founded in 1983 to preserve Florida’s agricultural past, interpret agricultural issues of yesterday, today and tomorrow, and educate the public about those issues through enjoyable experiences. It exists for the benefit of and through the support of the citizens of the State of Florida.
